The J-Hood Outdoor Summer Basketball league was founded in July of 2006. The league was created as way to provide all of the children in the Alexandra Park Community with a chance to participate in a competitive organized sports program at no cost. Also providing young people with an opportunity for personal skill development is a cornerstone of the summer league. Together, the players, coaches, scorekeepers, and referees combine to create a model that provides the foundation for our young people to transcend challenging circumstances.
